Web shield dont work for IE!

The web shield been working fine when i use Firefox or Opera. But when i use IE and/or Aol explorer, Avast! Web shield wont work. It wont spin. It only scan webpages that are open with Firefox or Opera, but not IE. It use to work, but i dont know what happen.

Do you have any proxy set? Are you viewing new pages (i.e. aren't the pages you browse in IE actually in its cache)?

I also had the same when I use a proxy with Firefox.

The proxy actually speeds up my internet download time it is Onspeed.

How do we get around this one?

A search of these forums for Onspeed may return many hits as I believe this topic has been previously discussed a number of times. If not for Onspeed but for other excelerators or proxies.
