So far, nothing has worked. The strange part is when my Wife opens her email, the Avast tab shows. But it won't for me no matter what I try. I've tried Avast repair and it makes no difference. I've tried exporting my Wife's Ribbon Customization file and importing into my copy of Outlook, no luck with that either.
Seeing as the Avast Anti Virus is in my Wife's copy of Outlook, I must assume Avast is working okay and the problem lies with Outlook instead.
Now all I need to do is find someone more versed in Outlook than I am. Thanks for your assist.
Ah, Ha! More searching has helped in that I found in my Wife's Outlook Add-Ins there is one entry that I cannot get to work for me. It is the file "C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\asOutExt.dll" which in the Outlook addins dialog it is listed as "Avast Addin". However, whenever I try to add this to my Addin dialog, it will not do so. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
