It would certainly solve a lot of these payment issues if Avast would quit asking for payment details just to run a trial for testing, payment details should only ever be given as trial nears it's term and if the user wishes to continue using the product.
Absolutely couldn't agree more.
The requesting of Payment information is one thing, but to require some kind of "cancellation" when simply testing a
"Trial version" is imo misleading and poor strategy for building trusting customer relations.
I myself was going to test a Trial but refused to provide payment info.
Stuff like this really disappoints me!~
