Question about Avast Anti-Virus

I have my avast anti virus setup to try to fix and infected file, and then if that doesn't work send it to quarantine, and then if that doesn't work delete the file. If it deletes a file will it notify me/keep a notification in the history tab? Thank you.

you will always be notified concerning any Avast detections- in a popup window and in the Notifications - History.
