Graphic Problems
« on: November 30, 2006, 09:03:49 AM »
Avast is leaving ghost images on the screen - remnants of drop down menus and images of the program boxes.  Why?  I am now running Windows XP Pro.  McAfee provides my firewall protection.  I got rid of Kerio Personal Firewall long ago.  My system is new, so why is this happening and how do I fix it?

It's sad that this come back again... It was related to Kerio last time.
But Igor said the *last* words here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=22698.msg188440#msg188440

I am not sure which sound driver's I have, but I used my manufacturer's (Toshiba) site to update, as well as Device Manager, to update the one's I have.  There were none available, but I am willing to try anything.

You are probably using Kerio firewall.  Same thing happened to me. Switched to Comodo firewall and didn't regret it.
