Hi malware fighters

Maybe you wondered how windows starts. Or you are using
linux, and you like to know more on boot processes.
You need the right documentation and manuals
Down here some are presented with links to key information :

In malware fighting to see what processes start up secretly
from a system file, and could be malware: we use autoruns: http://www.spychecker.com/download/download_autoruns.html

I use ... What's Running ... to monitor what starts up on my computer. It also allows me to stop services/programs that I do not want starting.

I use Russian System Safety Monitor, a tremendous process control over your system.

a tremendous process control
Isn't it eating that much resources?
I've gave up when they start the shareware version and let the free un-updated behind...
Besides this, too much interference on normal computer behavior and a disturbing tool.
Just my opinion.

Well it isn't easy on the system, but since I have 1258 RAM that's not a big issue. I use shareware version because I've done some translations for them so I got lifetime license  8)

As far as for the interference, over time I set it up like I want. And when you use some tool for quite some time you get used to it. But for sure, I wouldn't recommend it to any nervous person, because sometimes really gets in the way of peaceful work.

But I just want to say that Polonus was the one who told me about this tool, even when it was still beta. I think that more than a year pass since then. So I gave it a shoot with some testing and I haven't seen such a system control tool for Windows since.
