I'm not sure I know how to send the information to Avast about the false positive and i don't have a scanner.
If I were to uninstall Avast.. do you think the problem will be ok if the new antivirus doesn't have this problem? I didn't know if the problem will linger even if I uninstall Avast.
1. You don't need a scanner, what I'm talking about are the multi-engine on-line Anti-Virus scanners I gave links to previously. This should confirm if the detection is in fact a false positive detection.
2. This is a problem with VPS detections, uninstalling and reinstalling will do nothing to correct that. a sample (copy) of the file needs to be sent to avast so they can analyse it and correct the VPS signatures so it isn't incorrectly detected.
