HELP!! I need help removing antispysolution...

Hi tbuc71,

Sounds like you have a scam anti-spyware program on your computer.

These scam programs are dangerous.

They claim to have found malware when there is none present. They demand money to remove it. They are ineffective at removing real malware. They may in fact come with other programs that actually download spyware.

Obviously you need to remove it.

First look in Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and uninstall from there if possible. Also look for any other suspicious entires, Google if not sure and remove if spyware.

Do a boot time scan with avast! (Right click the scanner screen, select 'schedule a boot time scan' and reboot when requested.)

Try the usual free adware/spyware scanners.

AVG Anti-Spyware (Requires Win2k/XP)
a-Squared Free
Ad-Aware
Spybot Search & Destroy

Download, install and update all the programs. Disconnect from the internet (pull the plug) before running scans in Safe Mode if possible.

There are also specialist rogue product removers. Try these if you still have problems:

Thanks dude it seems to be gone.... The entries were still there when I ran hijackthis, so I deleted them. It seems to have did the trick. You rock! If I have anymore questions I'll know where to turn. Once again thanks for the help and if you're out at the pub have a pint for me.
