Win32-Agent-HDR
« on: June 14, 2007, 01:31:34 AM »
 ???

Hi,
We rum ADNM from 2003 Server with 10 Workstations
9 of 11 PC's (incl server) report Win32-Agent-HDR virus detected in both the \program files\avast\setup\setiface.* files.
These files were moved to the Chest but (as a result) the "infected" PC's can not be updated.
I tried copying the 2 x setiface files from a PC that reports "no infection",
but these files are detected as infected as soon as I attempt to copy them to "infected" PC?

Can Avast "clean" the files in the Chest
Can I reload the files (from where??)
Can I "force" avast on the PC's to update (by stopping the AVAST services on the server)

Anyone else seen this problem ????

Hi RAK,

Can you update the file in question to: http://www.virustotal.com/vt/ ,and can you see if onlt avast flags it. If the latter is the case you can establish it is a FP, then forward the file to avast. Else report back here:

I don't think so...

Maybe you need to get clean and then repair (or reinstall) avast.
