No... not a software is perfect, so we can use a 'blend' of them to get the best of protection.

If you haven't already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, preferably in safe mode.
1.  If using winXP AVG anti-spyware (formerly Ewido). Or SUPERantispyware Or Spyware Terminator. 2. Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition
3. Spybot Search and Destroy
4. Spywareblaster Don't install this until you are clean.

Regarding to the above statement, there 4 softwares to be installed. Don't you think it will harm the pc? I've seen people installing until 3 av in 1 pc but at last none of the av works find. It caused the pc hang and lots more problem. So don't you think it's goes same to this antispyware software?

P/S: Sorry if I get the statement the different way around.  ??? Just curious...

MeDIeVaL you should Only ever have one resident (running) Anti-virus program on a system at any one time (more is not always better).
If you have more than one AV program running you can be sure they will conflict. 3 running AV programs = trouble
AntiSpayware programs are a little different. Again only one with resident protection enabled the others used for additional checking.
AVG anti-spyware has a 30 day trial then becomes non-resident or you can turn this off when first installed
Spyware Terminator you can turn off the resident shields
SUPERantispyware free is non resident
Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition non-resident
Spybot Search and Destroy Tea-Timer off

I have all 3 of the above installed (non-resident) without any problems

Indeed. More than one antivirus as resident will conflict in a computer.

So don't you think it's goes same to this antispyware software?
No. Generally is possible to have more than one antispyware resident. But, after all, the ones I've posted, the free versions, aren't resident. They're only for on-demand scanning.

You notice they are in 1, 2, 3, 4, with item 1 there is a selection OR so if you only have one of those there will be no potential conflict between the other item 1 suggestions or avast. The main consideration is not having more than one resident anti-spyware as already mentioned.

The item 2 & 3 shouldn't be any problem as the freeware options are on-demand (not running all the time, with TeaTimer off as mentioned), so there should be no conflict with any item 1 selection or avast.

Item 4 SpywareBlaster is a passive prevention tool, neither resident, or on-demand, so won't conflict with the other items or avast.

All you will have is some used space on your hard disk, until you run an on-demand option, only then do they use system resources.

Your welcome, no apology necessary. What would have been worse was not to ask and be unsure.
