Hello...
are there any plans for future avast ,to scan mail at a low level rather than have to mess with port numbers etc?.I also use spamihilator which would require me to alter settings in mail client because avast and spamihilator uses the same ports.I know it might seem trivial but many other avs such as kaspersky ,nod etc doesn't need the user to alter anything because i guess it scans at a lower level?I know tech has given good advice here.....
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=9;action=display;threadid=3413
on how to accomplish avast and spamihilator cooperation ,but it is very awkward and long winded to do.Will avast be able to just scan mail at winsock level like nod and kaspersky in future ?
thank you for replies

The low level scanning would be a good improvement.
Yeah, it's a mess, I have avast, spamihilator and use Gmail, which add, Stunnel...
