Qbittorrent is getting blocked
« on: June 12, 2022, 12:21:49 AM »
I'm getting message that demonii.si has been secured for http://demonii.si/favicon.ico and http://demonii.si/favicon.png

Alert IDs are:
515899500086/2022-06-11T22:03:24.717Z
d8c400318d24/2022-06-11T22:03:25.358Z

After this QBittorrent doesn't seem to function.  What can I do to correct it?  I have put Qbittorrent.exe on the "allowed" list but this doesn't help.

First break active links to suspect sites/objects, 'eg' demonii.si/favicon.png  - to avoid accidental exposure to anyone clicking an active link.

Avast isn't alone in regard to this site - https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/demonii.si.

Also see here, site gets an F security rating - and - JavaScript Libraries with vulnerabilities - and other weaknesses.

It isn't so much a problem with Qbittorrent.exe (or avast would alert immediately, it is more the site that it is trying to connect.
So excluding the file wouldn't work when it is a website alert.
