Incomplete Resolution for Affected/Infected Fil
« on: September 04, 2024, 10:47:36 PM »
Over the last couple weeks, I have had a couple files from an add-on drive show up as infected. These may be false positives since the drive is a years-old system drive that's now configured as drive E. I have allowed Avast to "Resolve" the issue only to have it stall at about 95-97% complete. I have let the process continue for hours with no final resolution. Is this a problem with my system, or Avast? I'm running Windows 11. Thank you.

There isn't must detail to work with here.
File name, location and alert/detection name, etc.

Are you finding this on an on-demand scan that you are running, if not when ?
A screenshot of the Alert window might help
