WIN32:DELF-ESC [TRJ]
« on: January 02, 2008, 03:22:55 PM »
Hello everyone,

My girlfriend's computer has become infected with Win32:DELF-ESC and I simply cannot remove the cursed thing!  I've tried running Avast! in Safe Mode, as well as using Unlocker in a bid to overcome Windows' annoying file permissions message, but to no avail.

I'd be immensely grateful for any help you may be able to offer.

Regards,

J

Are you (she) using Windows XP?
Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning.
Select for scanning archives.
Boot.
If infected files are found, it's safer to send them to Chest instead of deleting them.
This way you can further analysis them.
