it has infected virtually all my executable files, how do i remove it?

Hmmm... files infectors are really difficult to clean.

Please, read all the instructions carefully first!
If this doesn't help you, please come back with detailed information on the deleted viruses/worms: exact virus name and full path/folder/filename for each virus/worm/malware. You could see avast! report/log for this.
