Are avast loading times fake?
« on: July 31, 2023, 09:06:25 PM »
I've noticed a new loading time when opening avast that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before, aswell as the fake loading time when you finish a analysis just to tell you that your device has become slower.

If those are infact fake loading times then how would all of this make you want to buy their product? At this point I'm wondering if it's finally time to swap antiviruses after 13 years of using avast Kodi tutuapp

Where (and what) are you checking these loading times  ?
I don't really see any major delays of Windows loading on restarts.  I don't have a lot of programs that I allow to start on boot

I use a laptop now for 6 years (specs in my signature below posts) and for the most part I don't do many restarts and when I do, I don't notice any general slowness in Windows loading.  I have only been using Avast for 20 years, from XP to win7 to win10 and in all of that time I have never noticed windows to be slow to load.
