What happens if you install avast one onto a computer with kaspersky?

Say you had kaspersky and then downloaded avast one would avast one and kaspersky real time protection interfere with eachother or would avast turn itself off real time protection when installed?

It isn't recommended that you even try.

Two resident (real time) on access AVs are likely to conflict.

Only if you had Windows Defender and you installed another AV would Windows disable the active components of Windows Defender.  This isn't the case of other AVs.

I wouldn't recommend it. I did this about 10 years ago.. (maybe more?) but It was with Avast and McAfee on a windows 7 laptop. The effects of having 2 AVs other than just wasting disk space and RAM is that it might do what it did to me.. Cause your PC to get stuck in a blue screen loop.. not fun..

Save yourself the trouble and not even bother  ;D
