Question about subscription period

Hello. I have a question: does the Avast license begin to expire from the moment of purchase or from the moment the key is activated? I want to buy an annual subscription with a discount, but I don't plan to use it on the same day, but in a month or two

It is activate from the time you purchase it, as it is recorded as an active subscription on the Avast database, so when you connect to the internet it is recognised as valid.

It is like many other purchases on the internet (particularly software) it is active from the time of purchase.

What you have to balance is, is the discount worth the potential reduction in the license period by purchasing early.
