At first, sorry for my poor english !
I use Windows XP SP2
My PC: AMD Athlon 64 in 2.1 GHz, 2Go of ram,
Connection Internet pare-feu XP
I downloaded setupfre.exe (18.559Kb)
When I want to install Avast4, the software creates a file
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4
in which it installs the files then wonders if I want to do a scan
of my hard disks after re-starting, I answer YES.
On one page 'related' DOS, the scan takes place and at the end the continuous boot.
Under Windows, I don't get the icon in the taskbar!
When I open the file C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4,
the ashServ.exe files, aswUpdSv.exe, ashMaiSv.exe,
and ashWebSv.exe disappears instantaneously as if something
of 'maliciously' came to erase them!!!
Conclusion: I cannot use Avast and it is well a pity.
Do you have an idea of the reason of my problem?
