As per the title - my Postbox client will not send or receive any emails with Avast Mail Shield up. It's working fine as soon as I disable the mail shield feature.
The Postbox application appears to be running (at least Windows is not informing of a hang) but the cursor is displaying as the pointer with the 'busy in background' icon spinning on it.
I've ensured that my junk and trash folders are empty prior to installation so it shouldn't be choking on those, so I'm now at a bit of a loss as to the root cause.
Any hints?
