Whitelisting a singfle PUP
« on: Yesterday at 05:46:33 PM »

I'm just trialing the tools right now. There is a particular piece of PUP that we actively need, however we do not wish to disable PUP detection generically.

I have read you're guidance and understand why you designate the tool as PUP, but its needed and this is the way :)

Is it possible to whitelist a single specific PUP ruleset? Designating a path as 'do not check' isn't an attractive option.

Thanks

It rather depends where the problem exists - e.g. are getting an Avast Alert and if so which Avast Shield,  commonly this would be either the File System Shield or the Web Shield.

So attaching a screenshot of the alert window (with more Details selected) or blocking would help.
