Is it possible to pause VPN for specific sites?

Running Windows and certain web sites will not work correctly when VPN is running. Is there a way to create an exclusion list so I don't have to remember to turn it off before proceeding?

I don't us ethe Avast VPN, so ran a google search for something close to what you ask - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=FAQ+Avast+%22VPN%22+exception+for+specific+sites

That returned this - https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/secureline-vpn-exclude-server/#pc
