Avast flags postgresql core components as malware
« on: July 30, 2024, 01:23:32 PM »
I'm installing the latest Postgres. Avast is deleting a key compoent, "raster2pgsql.exe", which stops Postgres from starting. Even if I tell Avast to ignore Postgres, it won't restore the deleted file. Most other antivirus programs are okay with the file. What's up with Avast?

Is your avast updated?

Not detected on VT now, always check scan date on VT and click reanalyze if old.
