log files

 ???should i delete the log files and if so when? is there a setting for a time limit for the log files? these are the logs of scheduled scans. plus, the event log what scale should i set? eg critical/emergency etc. thanks

You really don't have to do anything, if you try to delete the log files (from explorer) you will bump into the avast self-defence module.

Program Settings, Logging, here you can set a size for the logs if you wish to restrict the size. Or you van open the log and Delete 'clear' the specific log.

I think David meant "Windows Explorer" and not "Internet Explorer."

When you are viewing (or deleting, etc) log files (or other files), you are using Windows Explorer.

The explorer I refer to is windows explorer (to navigate to the location of the log files) and we all have that not internet explorer.
