«
on:

I am trying to get Avast to recognize the newest VPS which is 0428-1..In my About Avast it only shows the 0428-0..What can I do to get it? I already tried to manually update but it says I am already updated.
Thanks in advance!!

Sorry I forgot to say that Avast tried downloading the new VPS when I first started the computer..It came up red saying it could not download the new VPS..That's when I tried to download it manually..

Can you go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast antivirus > Remove and choose the 'Repair' function?
Boot.
Will it work?
At least, try to uninstall/boot/install/boot again and see what you get... Let`s know if this solve your problem
