win32.netsky
« on: June 08, 2010, 12:44:04 AM »
My kids computer is infected with the win32.netsky Trojan.  I have avast! home edition with the resident protection set to high.  When I boot up the PC an error box appears stating that I have win32.netsky Trojan.  I click OK and the screen goes blank with a solid blue background. I also try to boot in safe mode.  The result is the blue screen of peril.  I am very disappointed that avast! did not stop this Trojan.  Nevertheless, I need help!  Any advice?  Thanks!

Try this

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.46  http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
after install, click update so you are scanning with latest database
run quick scan and click on the remove selected button to quarantine anything found
post the scan log here

netsky is an old bug
