Maximum Security: 2010 Internet Security Suites
« on: April 29, 2010, 01:28:55 PM »
The year 2009 was a bad one for PC security: Online attackers created more malware last year than in the previous 20 years combined. Clearly, this means that in the realm of computer security, the rules have changed, and you can no longer rely solely on traditional definition-based antivirus software and firewalls to protect your PC. Instead, to meet this new breed of threats, you need a new breed of security.

Ratings on PCWorld depend heavily on how much money a company spends to advertise in it.

Let me guess in the future 2011 PC World report, 2010 was a bad year for pc security. Every year is a bad year for security nothing has changed.

The reason, many people fail to use a degree of common sense, fail to learn from the mistakes they have made in the past and haven't secured their systems. Some people are repeatedly infected time after time after time, we even see it here on the forums, with some making repeated returns with infected systems.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD - 27" external monitor 1440p 2560x1440 resolution - avast! free  24.9.6130 (build 24.9.9452.762) UI 1.0.818/ Firefox, uBlock Origin Lite, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
