avast is uploading?

Hello, I would like to start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE Avast. I just have a minor concern I would like cleared up. When Avast is active, my upload hovers around 20-25 KB/s. off its around 100 B/s. Most people wouldn't have an issue with this, but I host servers here, so naturally every byte counts, especially when were talking 25 KB/s. Any ideas on how to fix this, and also if its like this on my PC that means that its likely happening on the server and the SQL server as well.

It depends on what Avast is scanning at the time (in the background).  You could take a look at your Real Time Shields > Show Traffic History.  It also depends on your sensitivity settings in Avast (I would keep it at default for now), and what other software you have running simultaneously.  Have you looked at Task Manager or a similar program to see if there is something else causing the minor issue?
