Avast AV for Linux GUI limitation on netbooks
« on: August 15, 2010, 05:34:16 AM »
Graphic User Interface for Avast AV under Xubuntu doesn't show the scan button, so no scanning could be activated.  In this case, the affected machine is a Toshiba NB205 netbook (10.1" screen).

Maybe it's a matter of resolution. Indeed, the Linux interface of avast does not go well with reduced screens (or resolutions).
Hope they could find a way to reduce the size of the interface.

hallo,
mopst x11 window managers understand alt+drag mouse action, just to move window outside the main workspace.
