False positive, please solve it
« on: January 17, 2011, 05:15:05 PM »
Hi,

Avast is detecting one of my websites as URL:Mal (www.aldaianeta.com)
I've deleted all the site but still happens.
On virustotal it seems that is clean.

Only one at URLVoid, and that was WOT, which isn't conclusive by any means, http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/aldaianeta.com.

- There is a new on-line contact form, http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles for:  * Sales inquiries; Technical issues; Website issues; Report false virus alert in file; Report false virus alert on website; Press (Media), issues.
- If you are reporting an FP, then you get another input filed open, click Browse button and navigate to the file you wish to submit.

In the info state it is a detection by the Network Shield and can they review the site again. Give a link to this topic and virustotal, urlvoid, results.

Hello,

I removed your site from our URL blocker (it will be fixed in the next VPS). It got there for the second time and both times it was because of this file (hXXp://aldaianeta.com/idiomas/ActionMsn.exe). Don't know whether it is malicious or not (it is not possible to download it) - but avast detected it as malicious. Just for your information...
