Im thinking of installing usb disk security or panda usb vaccine together with avast to prevent any virus or malware to infect my pc when inserting usb or any other removable media. please help, any ideas? thanks  ;)

Sure, but Avast has an on-access real-time scanner so it should find most things automatically.

If you're paranoid, you can use another USB tool such as the panda usb vaccine that you suggested, or many others.

I use Panda's USB Vaccine along with Avast and there is no conflict.  I hope this helps you.  :)
