« on: August 07, 2003, 03:27:01 AM »
I'm getting all these returned emails that I haven't sent.

Example:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at serenity.mindvox.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<giantgiant@phantom.com>:
Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)

Uh, is your Avast up to date?  Please send an Email to me, it does not need to contain any message or Subject. Use the Email shown in my Profil (just click on my Nickname on the left side).

I got a few similar e-mails, too.
My guess is that somebody (who knows your e-mail address) is sending e-mails to non-existing recipients with your e-mail address given in the "From" field.
For example, it may be caused by a worm that spoofed your e-mail address from the victims address book and is trying to spread that way. In short, I don't think you can do anything about it   >:(
