phish-bankfraud1-troj

I have been working on friends computer and discovered he let his virsus subscription run out ( !/2 year now). I installed sygate firewall and Avast 4.0, this past Thurday. Avast found lot of win32:trojan-others, the phish-bankfraud1-troj and 2-3 other trojans. I managed to remove all (as far as I know). I installed Adware, Spybot, Trojanhunter and Spywareblster and ran all of them to remove others that Avast did seem to get. All seems to be ok now.

My question is about the phish-bankfraud1-troj, is it a password keylogger for bank accounts ? Another post on phish mentioned something about banks accounts ( when I did search). Or is it just somthing that came through email and you have to supply the informatiion to the attacker ( I think this is meaning of phish ?)
