CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT? SERIOUS PROBLEMS !!

not able to activate all protection, no matter what i try (normally i can fix everything in safe mode but this time the screen stays black and nothing shows up  

Repair avast!:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> avast!
2. Scroll down and click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

okey, i'm downloading the sp3 update, when it's done i'll remove avast and i'll reboot

The instructions are to REPAIR avast! not remove it.

MY HERO 
My best friend, thank you so much for the help, i had to reboot 5 times and had to start safe mode for the actions to take place but my avast is finally fixed and fully working, did the service pack 3 update and now i hope my screen is also fixed, gonna try it out now. i wish you a very nice day and the best for 2012
