Question about installing avast on Ubuntu 10.10

Hey Forum friends, I installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my other computer that had windows xp on but now is running ubuntu..  I am planning to install Avast for linux on it  I am only wondering will there be any message/popup i should look out for when installing Avast?

You need to change the kernel settings for avast to work/update.
There is a sticky topic about it.
