ZipPSW worm

Hello there,

Avast is picking out this virus worm and not allowing me to delete remove move to chest or even repair it..........
I am running on windows ME if this helps.....
also i get an error message which reads:
virus name:ZipPSW worm
file name : c:\windows\application data\im\identities\{E9BD937-DCA4834-A88F-826F6455EB6F}\MESS STORE\ ATTACHMENTS\ATT1F3.eml\text_document.zip file.

Any help given i will be very gratefull for

Sorry ............

Have just gone to c drive then searched thru to find the file ATT1F3 in the folder identities in the im file in the application file in windows

Have now deleted the file and re-run scan and am now clear

Hi,

pause avast shield(s) and just delete the message/mail with the offending attachment from within your
i... Mail
i.. messenger
or whatever
"IM" is

empty trash, too, and compact all folders afterwards.. then reeneable Avast Shield

board search could hlp, too

Detection of ZipPSW worm means that the password protected ZIP with special characteristics was found (Beagle like). I believe you can safely delete it....

I got it too.  I deleted it, but it is still reported again on a rescan....

either you got it again per Email/IM, (happens often with these Worms), or you didnt follow these instructions properly:
