actually I have several pop3 accounts...

How do I set up avast to scan all of them?

Lars, it is not your fault but I'm becoming tired of smtp and pop3 configuration as I'm trying to answer a lot of questions related to them...  :(

Anyway, forget the 'Default' pop and smtp servers, they will work as default not exclusive configuration. I have four or five differents emails (both pop and smtp different), so avast! does really work with them. I think it will be easyer if you send me an IM or email with your settings (password and user name are not necessary...) and I'll give them back to you.

If you do not want to do this, please: read help files (Mail protection wizard and Setting up mail protection). Everything is there. Anyway, I do not use Hotmail and I'm not an expert on it... Maybe another user could help you.  ;)
