I set avast to attach a note to clean incomming and outgoing emails but it never does. Could it be because I dont use outlook? I dont think its that caus outlook has its own resident and this is for pop3 and stmp, not program specific.
If you configure the 'Outlook/Exchange' plugin to add a note to the messages, you'll see it when download them from MS Outlook.
If you configure the 'Internet Mail' provider to add a note to the messages, you'll see it when download them from Outlook Express.
Did you set avast to scan Inbound/Outbound Mail? Did you run the Mail Protection Wizard?
