Problem with updates
« on: June 22, 2012, 05:44:30 PM »
Hello everyone, and congratulations on the excellent work you do!
for 2 weeks I noticed that not the pop-up message that has been updated, while first appearing regularly especially after a reboot!
Since then I do the updates manually.
I have read enough similar issues here in the forums and I have done and repair and clean uninstall, and reinstalls and anything else that could be used.
Got to the point format and made with the certainty that this will solve the problem but again nothing happened.
I have windows 7 sp1 and avast internet security 7.0.1426 with a valid license for one year.

Postscript: The avast is probably the only one that gives me so much detail that I ask to Internet security!!
Thank you beforehand for any help!!

I could not get the last update today.  Message said Avast was unable to retrieve last update.  I did a Repair and reboot.  No message came back on reboot.  This is Avast 7 update version 12065-1 that is currently installed.

I had the latest update.  But just re-ran the Manual definition updater, and it downloaded the update that I already had, 12065-1  Maybe the auto-update server is not synchronized with the program today or something.

I had that problem last night, then it automatically corrected itself on the next update, which often fixes the problem or rebooting the machine when it's out of sync.  Not a big deal.
