Avast! Service constantly downloading something in the background

The avast service program is constantly downloading something in the background in my PC. It doesn't seem like an update or so since it is happening since the last 24 hours. As a result , I am unable to use my internet connection at all......
After doing some research, the download seems to be coming from a korean IP which is 119.31.253.41.
Can anybody throw some light on this........

I tried the IP with http://www.ipillion.com/ It came up error because of the full stop at the end, simply miss this out, ie 119.31.253.41  thought I'd point it out.

Belongs to abongo.com as I can make out see link http://hamburg.abongo.com/investigate/119.31.253.41/host, from what I can make out it's a free tool to inspect internet domains.... is this part of Avast I wonder??

abongo.com search will reveal all.

Edit:
Just looked in my firewall and there's no such IP listed!
