Permit and Deny - how to ID black hats???

I received four queries this a.m. regarding file names I did not recognize. I looked in Search for them, and the file names were not found. How do I find out enough info about these file names to safely say Permit or Deny??? Thanks -

Find out to what appplication they belong to and what they do.
Use GOOGLE.

three out of four found and they are benign. I will keep looking for the fourth one. thanks, again -
