i just purchased a new msi laptop and installed avast internet security(pay version). i was having the most annoying stutter while playing final fantasy 11, it would freeze momentarily every 2 seconds. i finally figured out that it was avast causing the problem. if i disabled afast the problem would persist, it only went away when avast was completely uninstalled. i have submitted a support ticket about the issue and heard nothing, so now im thinking of getting a refund but that is proving to be less than simple. this guy was having the same issue and it appears he got no help either
