When open my computer avast try update, but in the meantime my computer is lock (2-3 minutes) , pc is open slow, when ı turn off updates no problem, can ı use the program updates is off, is it problem?

Are you talking about a virus definition update or, a program update
Program updates are fine if set to ASK   Virus definitions should be left on automatic

At what time do these updates cause the delay ?
e.g. shortly after you are booting and other auto virus definition updates or when you do a manual virus definition update ?
