If the AVG Linkscanner Data is a toolbar like the one in firefox it cab a right royal pain in the rear to remove it. This from one of our malware removal specialists. Personally I would steer clear.

...................You know it is not a Toolbar..lol..It is like any other Chrome Extension that can be disabled in 10 seconds..I tried it before but think this and other Web Reps are useless so i don't use them and disable them like i did the one in Avast..

at current point,webrep is working in chrome but not in IE9 for me...2 days ago it was the reverse...i guess avast team is working with the problems

Hi ^^

Well i noticed this since i installed full version 7.0.1456

Some web-site where i used to download all sort of video by downloadhelper, it was impossible to do it, with my personnal IP, VPN or something like this, also with IE8 private mode and Firefox private mode too

So i decided to uncheck web rep for both and test it again

And it was working fine

So i decided to check again to have web active for both and test it again

And now with both activated, on IE8, firefox 13, normal mode or private mode, it's working fine also with private IP or VPN

So try to uncheck reboot, reload IE and firefox, check again both, reboot and reload IE and firefox to see if it makes a change???

Let us know, sure people have problem with webrep, and don't know how to let it work fine....
