Corrupt Recycle Bin.
« on: July 09, 2012, 08:48:51 PM »
Whenever I run Combofix it always tells me that my Recycle Bin on my second hard drive is corrupt.

My second hard drive was originally my only hard drive and is why Windows is installed on it.
I no longer use that copy of windows however and just use that drive as backup for my movies and music.  etc.

So my issue is that I really don't care if there are problems with that version of windows on that drive.
I do not use that version of Windows anymore.
My fear is that there is so many files I have on that drive that I don't want to risk losing any.

But my question is if I continue to ignore the problem will the corrupt recycle bin spread?
Is that even possible?

Like I said I don't even use that Windows on that drive so I figure there is no reason that Recycle Bin needs to operate anyways.

You could simply fix it and then not worry about it any more. :)
This will work on Vista and Windows 7

Thanks.  I'm going to at least allow it to dump.
