Avast & Diablo3 = Uninstall (help)

Good day guys.

I've been a long time sophos user I went yesterday to make the switch on my Mac after hearing good things about your product.

Install want fine everything seemed fine. I liked the features a lot.
However when I went to play a game "Diablo3" avast just killed the internet connection to the point when took a good 5secs to refresh the screen.

I disabled every things else I had as well as rebooted and problem stayed. I installed in a a macbook pro and got the same results.

needless to say I uninstalled it.

Am I missing a settings. is all traffic filtered through you product? if so is there a way to white list an application or ports?

Thanks for your report. I also play Diablo 3 on my MacBook. The killed internet connection results in 5 secs delay in refreshing screen? Do you mean that in the game the framerate was terrible or you've got lags?

Have you tried to disable all shields?
