Frequent BSOD caused by aswsnx.sys
« on: July 12, 2012, 07:34:52 PM »
Hello!
I have a PC with avast installed. (windows XP SP3). Recently i´ve had a lot of BSOD with the message "irql_not_equal_or_less), but not specifying where is the problem. Analyzing the minidump i saw that the problem is caused by aswsnx.sys, according the "WhoCrashed" software.

Seems that if i uninstall avast my problem will be solved, but i like too much of your antivirus, and wouldn't like to make this. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Create zip file and add mini/full dump files, send ZIP file to Avast team/lab via FTP. (don,t forget to rename ZIP file with unique name-your nick avast BSOD....)

Code: [Select]
ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/

FTP program= http://filehippo.com/download_filezilla/
