Failed (0x0000005) Access Denied
« on: February 01, 2012, 12:17:02 PM »
We recently upgraded our exchange to 2010, not realising Avast doesnt seem to like it. Not a massive problem as i have decided to basically select all computers and do a managed package removal. This doesnt work and often just sits there saying "Waiting". Any ideas on this?

When i have manually gone to the users PC and remove the AV, when i go to redeploy the amended package (No Outlook addin) i get Failed (0x0000005) Access Denied. Now i know this is rubbish as i am actually using the domain administrator account. This account is part of the administartors group on the local PC too. We also have a Group Policy that disables all Firewalls, as well as UAC if used. The majority of the computers are Windows XP SP3 with a handfull of Windows 7. Sadly its not an option for me to go and manually uninstall it from each person machine as there are 200. This is just not a solution, the solution i need is to get ADNM doing its job correctly...

Often i also get error 53 (The network path was not found)even though its available and i can UNC to it and confirm its up and running...

Please help, i urgently need to get this resolved
