Is anyone else having scan issues ?

Hi I'm having scan issues I think I have a virus it won't update the definitions at all and when I try to scan it says n ot enough room to scan Could someone please tell me how I remove the virus if there is one ? It also says my licence is expired but I know it doesn't expire untill next April .

Yes I'm certain it is it also wont let me turn on the "scan" button or any button
It also says "the trial period has ended , I payed fro a year and its been 3 months

Can someone please help with this dilemma ?

Try a repair. Control Panel>Programs and Features/Uninstall>double click "avast">scroll to and click repair>reboot.  :)
