Boot Time Scan with Win98 SE ?
« on: January 08, 2005, 04:58:41 PM »
I'm running '98 SE , and wish to do a boot time scan. It's a very handy tool when the systems under attack. On XP it's available and has been super handy of late.
I'm wondering if it can be performed in Safe Mode, or in DOS  with Win 98 ?
Any info would be greatly appreciated  ;)

You can create a bootable cd/floppy (or anything you want) and use Avast for DOS to do a scan without Windows loading. You can also use the B.A.R.T cd to do so.
